Fallout 1.5 Resurrection is a modification for Fallout 2. The entire story is set between Fallout 1 and 2, when the world is still in chaos and independent communities struggle to survive. The world is a harsh and unfriendly place where justice is defined by whoever carries the bigger gun. As you have read, the character awakens within a dark cave and has no memories of who he is or why he is there. You start with absolutely nothing and seek your past which is darker than it first seems. We won't uncover more about the plot and its depth. We'll just say that it is similar to the other Fallout games - sophisticated, full of surprising twists and turns and with an unexpected ending. As huge Fallout fans we are trying our very best to recreate the magic of the originals. There will be rich atmosphere, deceit and despair, which many people loved about the original. Let's go back to the name of the game. Why RESURRECTION? We chose this name for two reasons. One it is linked with the character's destiny, which seems to rise from the dead. The second reason is that we want to resurrect the good old Fallout - we do not want to import a lot of new things or remake any systems. We just want to fill it with life. Everybody remembers how it felt to play Fallout for the first time. Traveling through beautiful locations filled with fascinating things to discover. You can play the game several times over, but it will never be as magical as that first time through. All we can do is wait for something new to uncover, to enjoy the unknown again. In order to bypass conflicts between the Fallout 1 and 2 we have placed the entire story in new locations set east from the NCR; not far from the great wasteland. We know that it will disappoint some, but on the other hand it gives us some freedom with the story which will be nearly as long as the original Fallout. It will require tremendous effort. Wish us luck. We have been working for some months and have made a lot of progress. Though small, our team is filled with talented people who love their work and strive each day to complete the project. When will it be finished? Who knows.
