Full screen

On PC, STEAM users have complained about their Fallout play screen being reduced to half the size as their monitor resolution. A Fallout 4 Fullscreen Fix was posted to help this condition. However, some people complained that the tip didn't fix. And they were right. It's not verified, but it may have affected mod users who had installed F4SE mod. F4SE is necessary for high level mods. The FIX for the full screen condition is NOT fussing with the Fallout4Prefs.ini file.

Here is how to fix the fullscreen issue. You need to go to STEAM, right click Fallout 4 under games, Properties, Local Files, Verify Integrity of game files...

This will automatically fix the reduced screen condition and bring it back to full screen. STEAM will modify the Fallout4Pref.ini file, so you will have to go back to C: or F:/Users/[Your Profile]/My Documents/My Games/Fallout/Fallout4Prefs.ini file and edit it back to:

[Launcher] bEnableFileSelection=1

This ensures that you have full screen and modding functionality for Fallout 4.
