This is a list of known modifications, plugins and unofficial patches for Fallout 1.
List is not necessarily 100% comprehensive; it's possible other fan-made patches/mods exist for Fallout 1.
Mods released and still in development:
- Fallout FIXT (Made by Sduibek, includes all patches and mods below except Fallout Revisited and Update Mod. Is not compatible with those two mods!! Recommended.)
- Fallout1 Resolution Patch (Made by Mash, allows many graphical fixes and features including higher resolution and DirectX modes. Recommended.)
Mods released and no longer being developed:
- Sfall (Fallout 1 branch is discontinued. However, v1.18e still works for Fallout1. Recommended.)
- Fallout Patch v1.2.x (Must install before v1.3.x patch! - Newest available version is 1.2.1)
- Fallout Patch v1.3.x (Newest available version is 1.3.5)
- Fallout NPC Mod (Allows hirelings - Ian, Tycho, Katja, Dogmeat - to be given combat orders, equip new armors, and gain 2 levels each)
- Fallout Update Mod (Restores 4 quests, 27 NPCs.)
- Fallout Restoration Mod (Restores invasions, some random encounters, and adds content to caravans)
- Fallout1: Fallout Revisited (previously was Fatal Damage Mod)
- Fallout Patch v1.3 beta (obsolete)
